HEY, WELCOME!
I'M MEGAN, A SAN DIEGO-BASED COMMERCIAL FOOD PHOTOGRAPHER
I specialize in creating vibrant food, beverage, and lifestyle imagery. I’m especially fascinated by projects that use food to drive a larger human narrative. As the oldest of four, my siblings might complain that I’m bossy, but I just like to make things happen! My clients and peers have described me as kind, adaptable, and organized. This is the energy, infused with a healthy dose of fun, that I strive to bring on set.
While my journey to a career in photography has not been linear, it has always included food. My first job was at age fifteen in a neighborhood pizzeria, where I threw pies and occasionally poured beer when the bartender didn’t show (legality questionable). Eventually, I moved on to work as a nutritionist with food-insecure families for over a decade before pursuing photography full-time.
In keeping with this ethos, I still enjoy pouring a drink for either a friend or a stranger (especially if it results in a good chat), and 1% of all profits go directly to World Central Kitchen. Think we'd make a good team? Reach out via email or phone. Let's create something incredible!
