Hey, Welcome! I'm Megan (rhymes with vegan)
a San Diego-Based Commercial Food, Drink & Lifestyle Photographer
From restaurants and chefs to hospitality groups, tourism boards and publishers. I partner with clients to create thoughtful, dynamic imagery that honors their work and amplifies their brand narrative.
Collaboration is at the heart of my process. Whether working directly with clients, teaming up with fellow creatives, or ideally both, I thrive on the process of realizing a collective vision. The teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity that’s required to bring a brand’s identity to life isn't just exhilarating, it's my favorite part of the job!
My path to photography hasn’t been linear, but food has always been at the center. At fifteen, I got my start tossing pizzas (and occasionally pouring beer when the bartender didn't show) at a neighborhood pizzeria. Later, I spent over a decade as a nutritionist supporting food-insecure families before pursuing photography full-time.
In keeping with this ethos, I still enjoy pouring a drink for either a friend or a stranger (especially if it results in a good chat), and 1% of all profits go directly to World Central Kitchen. Think we'd make a good team? Reach out via email or phone. Let's create something incredible!!
